The rules that apply when you buy from us or use this site.

Welcome to Kept. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and any purchase you make from us. By browsing the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Using Our Website

By using this site, you agree to:

  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations
  • Give accurate information when you place an order or create an account
  • Not interfere with how the site works
  • Not do anything that compromises the security of our systems or other customers

2. Orders and Purchases

Order acceptance

Your order is accepted when you receive an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, if a price is listed incorrectly, or if we suspect fraud.

Pricing

All prices are in USD. We can change prices at any time, but you'll always be charged the price shown when you checked out.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and Apple Pay. Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.

3. Product Information

We work hard to describe our products accurately, including dimensions, materials, and load limits. Colors can look slightly different from screen to screen, and small variations in finish between production runs aren't defects. The load limit and surface compatibility listed on the product page are the numbers that matter — please read them before you buy.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping is free on all US orders. We currently ship within the United States only. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days, with delivery typically taking 7–14 business days. Delivery estimates are for reference and aren't guaranteed — carriers, customs, and weather can cause delays. See our Shipping Policy for the full picture.

5. Returns and Exchanges

You have 15 days from delivery to return your order, and we cover the return shipping. If you tried it on your door and it wouldn't stick, you can still send it back — that has no effect on your refund. Items just need to come back complete and in their original packaging. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Final sale, custom, and gift card purchases can't be returned. See our Return Policy for the details.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — text, images, logos, product designs, and brand assets — belongs to Kept or our content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property law. You can't reproduce, distribute, or reuse it without our written permission.

7. Installation & Safety

Our products attach with suction, and they only hold as intended when they're installed correctly on a compatible surface.

  • Follow the installation instructions included with your order and listed on the product page
  • Don't exceed the rated load — 6.6 lb / 3 kg per rack
  • Only mount on compatible surfaces: smooth, non-porous finishes such as painted doors, tile, glass, smooth painted walls, and polished metal. Rough wood, brick, concrete, textured wallpaper, peeling paint, and matte or textured latex paint won't hold
  • Check the mount periodically and re-attach it if it ever feels loose

Kept isn't responsible for damage to property or to items you hang if the rack was overloaded, mounted on an unsuitable surface, or installed without following the instructions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Kept isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the product involved.

9. Accounts

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they're posted here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
